Rizzuto's Wood-Fired Kitchen & Bar, combines warmth and hospitality with a rustic Italian menu that centers on quality ingredients, simple preparations, and great value. Artisan bread and a variety of antipasti share the stage with imported cheeses and cured meats. Our house made pasta dishes are true standouts, as are the chef's chalkboard specials that include market fresh fish and top grade meat dishes. Our authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizza and decadent desserts earn rave reviews, as does the global wine list, which includes Rizzuto's favorite Italian varietals.

Stamford Restaurant

The fourth installment of Bill Rizzuto’s popular brand of casual Italian dining opened in Stamford, Connecticut in November of 2011 in the form of RIZZUTO’S ITALIAN KITCHEN. The large, multi-level space features Rizzuto’s signature open pantry kitchen with pizza oven and granite antipasto bar with counter seating. With a capacity for 160 people and a large bar and lounge that is sectioned off by retractable garage-like doors, Rizzuto’s of Stamford offers a fun and lively atmosphere.

The menu is defined by quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. No gimmicks or passing trends - just honest Italian food done right and with Rizzuto’s Restaurant Group Executive Chef Tony Camilleri’s commitment to the use of the freshest ingredients possible. “House made” is not a catch phrase at Rizzuto’s. It is a daily practice of baking bread, making pasta, simmering soups, stocks and sauces, preparing market fresh fish and meats, and even infusing vinegars for dressings and spirits for creative cocktails.

RIZZUTO’S ITALIAN KITCHEN straddles the Stamford / Greenwich border, conveniently located off of the I-95 Thruway. Both residential and corporate addresses define the neighborhood, making this a unique destination for work and play and a restaurant for the entire family.
