Rizzuto's
: West
Hartford's Newest Outdoor Dining Destination!
The Outside Terrace at Rizzuto's in West Hartford
is now open for your dining enjoyment!
Great food, an amazing wine program, a real
dedication to excellent service and a fun,
theatrical setting make Rizzutos in West Hartford
the perfect destination for al fresco lunch,
a family dinner, a partty or corporate event
or a romantic late night coffee and dessert.

Owner Bill Rizzuto, a former hotelier with
Hyatt Hotels and other highly regarded hotel
and resort properties throughout the country,
has created Rizzuto’s Wood-Fired
Kitchen & Bar in West Hartford’s
newly developed Blue Back Square dining and
retail center completely from scratch.
The results are dramatic, Rizzuto's New York
design team took Bill’s vision and enthusiasm
for all things Italian and created a blend
of old world and modern Italian nuances. An
open kitchen with a large stone-clad wood-burning
oven is supported by an exhibition pasta pantry
where fresh pasta will be made. An antipasti/salumeria
and an enoteca element featuring
extensive wine selections will also be part
of the drama

Exterior windows open during the warmer months
and a perimeter awning shelters 50 al fresco
seats facing Blue Back Park and the West Hartford
Town Hall.
The West
Hartford Rizzuto's Menu is reminiscent
of the original Rizzuto's in Bethel, with
dishes being prepared in wood-fired ovens,
but surprises will be coming from the restaurant's
three exhibition kitchens. Pastas, From the
Earth and From the Sea entrees add drama to
the menu. Cheese and Meat platters provide
fun appetizers and Rizzuto's Artisinal Salads
are not to be missed.
Hand-crafted pastas, seasonal raviolis, and
platters that showcase cured meats and imported
cheeses round out a great menu.

Already renowned for pizza, the restaurant
will feature fantastic Napolitano style pies
baked in Rizzuto's special wood burning oven
as well as grilled meat and fish dishes perfectly
cooked in that same oven.

House-made pastries and Italian sweets supply
the perfect ending to the meal. and watching
the preparation of each dish provide creates
a fun, theatrical feeling.

The
wine
program at Rizzuto’s features
an ALL-ITALIAN wine list. By-the-glass wines
are served in a quartino, allowing them to
open fully, offering guests greater value
and longer enjoyment. The wine list has been
carefully crafted to encompass smaller producers
as well as some of our favorite Italian wines,
and will take our guests on a virtual wine
tour of Italy.
Open
for lunch and dinner seven days a week, Rizzuto’s
will also cater your off-premise events and
can accommodate private parties in the new
location’s private dining room. |
