About Rizzutos
In 2008 Chef / Owner Bill Rizzuto celebrates
3 years of pizza, pasta, and all things deliciously
Italian at Rizzuto’s Wood-Fired Pizza
Kitchen in Bethel, CT.

Rizzuto’s has proven itself to be the
area’s stand-out restaurant for casual
dining, quality food, and genuine hospitality.
This
past September, Bill introduced the exciting
and intimate new The Bar @ Rizzuto’s,
an addition located on the right side of the
restaurant. This lively bar accommodates 20
seats of high-top tables in addition to 13
seats at the bar. A full menu is offered,
along with a new extended crafted wine list,
specialty cocktails, and two HD televisions.
Tile flooring, granite bar top, retro black
and white photos, and wood furnishings give
Rizzuto’s bar a relaxed feel, with style
and flare. Rizzuto’s is now an even
more exciting dining and gathering destination.

Bill
Rizzuto, whose career saw him through
stints at such prestigious hotels and
resorts as Walt Disney World’s Dolphin
Hotel at Epcot Center and Hyatt Hotels
Northeast Division, offers the sights,
sounds, aromas, and energy of a casual
yet sophisticated dream kitchen founded
on the recipes, ingredients, and warmth
of Bill’s own Italian heritage.
While visually attractive, the food remains
unpretentious, using the freshest ingredients
with the most authentic cooking methods.

Great
food and value is important to Bill. Menu
highlights include the highest quality wood-fired
pizza in traditional and gourmet styles. Favorites
include Portofino pizza with shrimp, apple-smoked
bacon, fresh basil, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella.
Pasta specialties include vegetable lasagna
layered with spinach, eggplant, mushrooms,
ricotta, and mozzarella with marinara sauce.
Scrumptious meal-sized salads are hugely popular,
as are the cedar plank center-cut pork chops,
hardwood-grilled organic salmon, and the roasted
chicken and shrimp al forno in a fresh rosemary-cream
sauce. A full selection of wine, beer and
microbrews round out the menu. The relaxing
dining environment features an open-air kitchen
that showcases the wood-fired oven, a preparation
that maximizes food flavors, and allows diners
to observe the chefs at work.
Bill has taken special care to create a neighborhood
oasis that is attractive to families, couples,
and the surrounding corporate community. Beautiful
stonework, eclectic lighting, and comfortable
furnishings allow for lazy lunches and cozy
dinners. Our outdoor patio remains in full
swing as long as the weather allows.
